Alongside but set back from the Rhône Valley, the Monts d'Ardèche Park is easy to reach by means of the N102 and the D104 and the A7 motorway (Valence Nord/ Valence Sud /Montélimar Nord/Montélimar Sud/ Bollène exits). The Park is more or less situated an hour 's drive from the Rhône Valley, through the two gateway cities of Aubenas or Privas. Coming from the Massif Central, the N102 road links the cities of Le Puy-en-Velay and Aubenas, crossing the entire Park and thus being a real artery of the territory.

Public transportation:

You feel like having a car free stay. The Regional Express Transport (TER) Rhône-Alpes buses network leads to The Monts d'Ardèche Park (Privas, Aubenas, Joyeuse, Les Vans) starting from the bus stations in Valence Ville, Valence TGV station or Montélimar. Cars can also be rented at these stations to drive to the Park.

The Conseil Général (county council) lines (le Sept- the seventh) go to different villages in the Park. For further information:

Don't hesitate to ask the owner of the place where you will be staying to pick you up from one of these bus stations.

Car share travelling:

Why wouldn't you choose this cost-efficient, environmentally-friendly, fair, social and convenient way of travelling? There exists many national car share websites, notably one in Drôme-Ardèche:
